The plan shows The Jockey Club are proposing that the Seven Springs area could become a Country Park and 415 homes could be built on neighbouring Pinewood Stud.

The Exning New River Association have been in discussions with The Jockey Club to highlight the importance of the Springs to Exning New River and that part of this site is rare ‘wet woodland’ which must be preserved. ENRA believe that it is important the aquifers which supply the New River and the Newmarket Pumping Station are protected from water loss and run off contamination, from the proposed housing development.
