The Association is very grateful to Roxa and Michael at The Wheatsheaf Inn who organised successful pub quizzes in December and February in aid of the New River and gave some very generous prizes.
A big thank you also goes to Paul Simmons (a riparian owner) who compiled the questions and acted as quiz master.
The next quiz is scheduled for Saturday 26th April – do come along.
Our West Suffolk Councillor, Jon London has kindly match funded the £240 raised in December 2024 at the quiz from his Locality Budget for materials for improvements to the New River.
