Over several weeks a group of volunteers cleared many years of debris, brambles and ivy from the banks and river by the Swan Lane Bridge. This clearance work was supported with a grant given by Jon London, our West Suffolk Councillor, from his Locality Budget.
In the coming months we will be doing work to protect and replant the banks and restore the original route of the river. This work has been supported by a grant from Octopus Energy.
